The 2023 Red Bull Engineering Academy Assessment Centre saw 48 applicants visit the Red Bull Technology campus last January for a series of assessments that ultimately put 12 lucky graduates on the fast track to top level engineering careers via a two-year placement at Red Bull Advanced Technology and Red Bull Powertrains.
The Red Bull Engineering Academy is a global talent search and 2023 saw being the first graduate programme, saw more than 4,000 young engineers apply for programme. Following a detailed examination of each application, 48 graduates were chosen to attend in-person assessments at the Red Bull Technology campus, with 24 attending on each of the two days of the programme.
The final 12 academicians were offered a two-year placement at the Red Bull Technology campus, working in engineering disciplines including Controls & Calibration, Electronics, Mechanical and Manufacturing. Over the course of the two years, the successful candidates will rotate through Red Bull Advanced Technologies and Red Bull Powertrains, working on exciting Advanced Technology projects as well as developing Red Bull Powertrains’ first ever race-spec power unit’.
